No Center offers child care for 14 hours a day 5 days a week but we do!

We have small teacher to child ratios in our classes. This is beneficial in many ways; the most important, is more one-on-one time with the teacher. 

Each classroom has qualified Early Childhood Educators! We exceed the educational standards required by the state of Texas for Early Childhood Educators!

We use a Montessori hybrid curriculum! 

All children have their very own comfy nap cot, blanket, pillow, and Lovey! All of these are washed daily with all natural, handmade, hypoallergenic detergent. Not only do we want to make sure each little cub is cozy at nap time, but we also want to reduce outside germs as much as possible to keep our little cubs healthy!

We are a No Shoes Allowed Center! Little Cubs crawl and play around on the floor a lot throughout the day so to add extra health safety, no outside shoes are allowed by parents, children, or employees in any classroom. However, each walking child, five and under will receive a pair of shoes purchased by us to keep in their assigned bags for outside play. Outside shoes can be worn only in the lobby, reception, and hallway areas. 

On nice days, we allow children to enjoy earthing/grounding. This is allowing the children to play outside barefoot. There are so many benefits in allowing earthing. Some include.. 

• Reduction in fatigue and increased energy
• Reduction in chronic pain and inflammation
• Enhances and elevates mood
• Improves sleep quality
• Supports heart health

Speaking of outside, we have a 6 foot privacy fence around our outdoor playground with locking gates and live feed video security cameras that monitor the outdoor play area. This protects our children while out at play. No Stranger Danger!

Every employee has a uniform, photo I.D. badge, and shoes to keep at the Center; so again, no unneeded germs enter our facility and it is easy to identify our staff. 

We have our very own janitorial staff! This allows our teachers to be well, teachers and our Center to stay clean throughout the day.

As stated already, we have live feed security cameras on our playground. We also have both audio and video live feed cameras in each classroom, throughout the building, excluding bathrooms, and even cameras outside around the building so that we always have eyes on our little cubs to make sure everyone is safe and taken care of properly. These are not meant for parent viewing due to privacy, security, and safety measures for the children in our care. We take security and safety very seriously in our Center. 

All of our classrooms have keypad locks on the doors for secure entry and are locked promptly at 9 AM. 

Our staff are properly trained in self defense. They also take a 30 hour commissioned security officer training course annually and hold a LTC, which gives added protection to our little cubs in our Center. 

We have security guards on campus at all times during operating hours walking the grounds.

We have a monthly rotating menu instead of a boring weekly or bi-weekly menu. All of our food is homemade and healthy thanks to our outstanding chefs!

We provide cups to all of our little Cubs with the exception of our formula or breast fed infants. Bottles must be provided for each infant who is on formula or breast milk. Glass bottles are not allowed due to safety concerns. All bottles must be brought to the Center clean and empty ready for use. 

Children receive Breakfast, an AM Snack, Lunch, and a PM Snack. Supper is served to our evening and After school children. 

For our infants, we provide freshly made, all natural pureed baby food daily. We provide formula, sensitive skin wipes, powders, creams, bibs and blankets for our baby cubs as well!

Plus! We keep house diapers on stock at all times in case a parent forgets to bring some. House diapers are all natural, hypoallergenic choices. No cloth diapers are allowed due to sanitary reasons. House diapers do cost $1.00 each. 

ALL children 5 and under also receive their very own Little Cubs backpack to store all of their belonging in. 

Birthdays! We celebrate Birthdays in a big way at Little Cubs Learning Cabin. To us, Birthdays are very special. Each child will have a special party thrown with their school friends when their Birthday comes around. We will have balloons, cupcakes, popcorn, pizza, and party decor. Our day will revolve around your little cub's special day.
